Welcome to your API Usage Overview!

We’ll explore how Skulytics tracks actual API usage. API Calls and Webhook Deliveries are now combined for easier, more accurate reporting. Here’s a quick overview. Let’s jump in!

Where to Find It

Find the API Usage section on your Dashboard Overview page. Look for the card labeled “API Usage (Total)” in the top-right corner, next to your Public Key and Secret Key. This displays your total API usage activity, including API Calls and Webhook Deliveries for the selected date range.

The API Usage card provides an overview of your API usage. It includes an adjustable date range, which defaults to the first day of the month through today.

  • The total number of API Calls and Webhook Deliveries.

  • A percentage change showing how your usage compares to the past 30 days.

  • A “View Details” button to access comprehensive tables and charts breaking down your API Calls and Webhook Deliveries by time and type.

Client Information

In the View Details section of the API Usage page, you’ll find more in-depth information about your activity. The first section displays Client Information, including the Username, Email, and the date range you selected earlier from the dashboard.

API Usage Summary

Next, the second section provides a detailed breakdown of your API Usage.

This section summarizes key metrics, including:

  • Total API Calls – The total number of API requests made during the selected date range.

  • Webhook Success Count – Indicates the number of webhook deliveries that were successfully completed within your chosen date range.

  • Total API Usage – The total number of API Calls and Webhook Deliveries combined.

Below these totals, the API Usage (per day) table shows a daily breakdown with columns for Date, API Calls, Webhook Deliveries, and Total API Usage.

Daily Breakdown

In the third section, you’ll find two detailed breakdowns: API Calls Breakdown and Webhook Deliveries Breakdown.

  • API Calls Breakdown shows a list of all API requests, ordered by date, endpoint, and hit count. This table helps you quickly see which API endpoints are most frequently used.

  • The Webhook Deliveries Breakdown shows each webhook event’s date, name, destination URL, and the number of successful deliveries for the selected range. This gives a clear view of webhook performance.

🎉 That’s it! You now have a complete overview of how to view and analyze your API Usage Details, from total usage summaries to detailed breakdowns of API Calls and Webhook Deliveries. With this information, you can easily track performance, monitor your API usage, and ensure accurate usage reporting.
